D’Ambra Forastera
€13,50
This vine was brought to Ischia from Naples in the nineteenth century to save it from phylloxera and its origin from outside the island gave the grape the name Forastera or Furastera, Forestiera and Frastera. From these grapes, hand picked, a white full of character is born, with intense citrus aromas and pleasantly dry and mineral on the palate. This wine is so fresh and balanced that it is perfect not only for an aperitif with fish and carpaccio canapés but also with more elaborate dishes, stuffed mussels, shellfish and Ischia-style rabbit.
